And the money keeps rolling in

And the money keeps rolling in

Not long ago I started to read my copy of “The Secret” again. No matter how tacky it is, I love that book. It always seems to bring me positives vibes when I read it. And no fail this time! As I did not manage to find a job in Leeds my bank account is feeling a bit lonely. Slowly every euro seems to leave her. But since I started to read my book again I literally seem to attract money. It’s absolutely wonderful. Let me give you a little list.

·         I covered somebody’s Zumba class and got paid for that (double yay!)
·         Some days later a friend told me about an advert for a couple of days work taking surveys for the university. I responded right away and got to do the job that same week for some days. They somehow are even paying me half an hour extra.
·         The week after I got asked if I wanted to be in the photo shoot for the university welcome brochure for next year. And I will get some money for doing that. Funny how I received the text while I was watching America’s Next Top Model (Law of Attraction going on here. Especially since I will be hair model next week (free hair dye, yay!)).
·         A couple of days ago I got an email from my dad with my tax forms from last year. Turns out I get back quite a nice bit of money while I thought I wouldn’t get anything. That is why I never even bothered to fill out the forms last year. And now they are sending me reminders to claim my money.

Let this trend go on please! Next thing you know I win the lottery or a free vacation. I surely would not mind that!

Why I am not very normal

First of all, by not very normal I actually mean that I'm rather a strange person. But then again, I would say that being weird is relative. I am quite normal compared to some... Although this list might make me want to question that.

- I seem to have a problem with my short term memory. As soon as I find a pen I forgot what I wanted to write down. I open a new tab and forgot what website I was looking for. I go down to get something but don't remember what exactly I was going to get or get distracted and get a whole bunch of other things and will have to walk down again to get the thing I actually came for. I exchange for that my brain remembers some useless details for years and years. (I was gong to give an example of this, but guess what, I forgot it again).

- I have an obsession with cutlery. I preferable only use my own. I don't mind if others use it, as long as I don't have to use theirs. Fork with bent dents make me cringe and I will try my best to sneakily swing my fork with someone else's if I happen to get a bad one. Somehow this whole thing is not as bad in restaurants. I guess it's the excitement of the food.

- Plucking my eyebrows makes me feel nauseous. I can't explain.

- I like to sort things out and but them in boxes which I then label and all pile up. In the literal way. Not in the sense of thinking in boxes. I'm OCDed, not mean.

- I never read just one book at a time. Momentarily there are 5 partly-read books next to my bed. One is Dutch, three are English and one is German. But the good thing is that it has been worse.

- When i re-read a book I make the same comments on what I read in my head. My next thought always is; that's what I was thinking last time as well. That's how original I am.

- I seem to end up dancing zumba everywhere. All the time. But in my defense; it's not just me. Really, I just can't resist.

Well, here come some zumba examples:

Zumba while going out.
